15/5 Report 4/28
We just completed our Alpha Test last friday night in class. It was a success. I am currently finishing up the evaluation report this week, but I am still writing up the beta test results. For the most part, all of the beta testers have had nothing but good things to say about our tutorial. We also completed the lesson summary and posted it in our team documentation page.
As some of my teammates have anxiously written, our final project turned out slightly different than was planned. We started out trying to create a project that was going to provide learners with strategies to stock a home bar. Our tutorial does not directly tell you how to stock a bar, but indirectly it does. We have created a beautiful tutorial that provides learners with information about alcohols, alcohol safety, stemware, and garnishes. Learners who learn this will be able to make decisions on what they could put in their own bars at home

Today is the day! today I will be conducting the Alpha Test. Today is the day when other classmates get to experience our creation. Yesturday, I sent out the website address and evaluation form to four people in my neighborhood. They are to complete the Beta test by next Tuesday and have their results to me. Tonight looks to be a lot of fun. Hopefully all will go well and the testing will go smoothly.

Over the past week our team has continued to conduct reviews of the web site to catch any problems that can be resolved and fixed. Team member have worked hard and found various items that needed to be corrected. Our web site is looking sexy! We all have created something we all should be very proud of.
Tonight we will present our demo and our evaluation plan in class. Over the next week, we will continue to review the web site and make suggestions for improvements in time for our testing to begin.

15/5 Report for 4/7/06
This past week I have been finishing up the Evaluation Plan. The evaluation is finished and we are excited about finally being able to test our tutorial with a real audience. Rhonda, our project manager, has really helped me a lot over the past week with the evaluation. For that I am thankful.
This past week has also been spent reviewing the tutorial. We have caught mistakes that need to be fixed before we go ahead with evaluation testing. Most mistakes are minor. Our team is really focused on getting this project done within time. See you next week!

This past week our team has contributed to revising the evalution plan, alpha test, and the further creation of our web tutorial. I am currently working hard on the evalutaion plan and I hope to have it to the group by this weekend.
Jolanta, our head web developer has created a very professional looking tutorial, that I cannot wait to test during the evalutaion phase. In the upcoming week I need to start finding beta testers in my neighborhood. I have some interested contacts that I need to get back to. All in all, the project is going very wonderful. I cannot wait to see the finished product.

Hope everyone had a fabulous spring break! I am exhausted. These past two weeks were spent finishing up lessons and transfering them over to the final project in dreamweaver. We are almost done! I spent some time over spring break working on the Evaluation Plan. Over the next week I will continue working on the Evaluation documents.

15/5 Reflection 3/9/06
This past week our team has been busy finishing up our lessons for our tutorial. We have also been finishing up our storyboards for the entire lesson plan. I wrote and then collaborated with Sondra on Lesson Alcohol Safety, and I must say it is an excellent lesson. But in all honesty, every team member has had been great in collaborating on different pieces for the project, and I believe that all of out lessons are informative, easy, simple, and well written. I cannot wait to see how much the final tutorial will play out. We have a great design and it will be interesting to see if the design will change in the making of the “real” tutorial. Over the next few weeks our team will be creating the tutorial in deamweaver and I will begin formatting an evaluation plan.

15/5 Report for 3/2/06
This week our team was busy creating a developement plan, screen spec design plan, and storyboards for the first lesson. It was really fun helping create the storyboards and also write some of the lessons for our tutorial. I have learned so much about home entertaining, more than I thought I would anyway! I really love the design our team decided on for the tutorial. It is very simple, easy to navigate, streamlined, and professional looking. Over the next week we will continue to finalize the entire storyboards for all four of our lessons.

Over the past week our team has completed a flow chart that is helping us organize what material will be covered in our tutorial from beginning to end. With our group completing the flow chart, it has helped us figure out what we want to be covered in our lessons for the tutorial.
Our team has also been finishing up some last minute research, and has already started writing lessons for our project. In the next week, we will be working on our storyboards with the content that is being written right now.

Each group member contributed screen design ideas this week. Everyone had great ideas, I really like the one Sondra designed with the animated cork opener. We all decided that the best way to choose a design is to build off of everyones ideas. This week has especially been hard for me, but my group members have respected my privacy during this time. They have also offered many thoughts and prayers, which has made this week a little bit more easier to get through. I look forward to seeing everyone next week.
